Had a great time at March 30 Dutch Oven Gathering

Thank you all for participating in the Spring DOG (Dutch oven Gathering) & Jam on March 30th.  I believe we helped Sacajawea Park put out the welcome mat for opening day!
About seven cooks participated, the members and jammers rounded out the meal with yummy side-dishes. It seems there was an unwritten memo that it was a Pork showcase day. We had two versions of pork tenderloin, pork roast with savory vegetables, pulled BBQ pork sandwiches and Ham. New member Fred cooked a southwestern chicken dish, and Marsha cooked a vintage ale bread recipe. Melissa made wonderful Mac& cheese. We were pleasantly surprised to have Doug return to the team of cooks.
All in all it was a grand day, and thank you all for attending. Wonderful food, music, friends, kids and dogs, exactly as it was meant to be!  Now who’s on deck for hosting the next DOG?
