A Chapter of Mid-Columbia Traditional Arts and Music Association

We are the Bluegrass and Old-time acoustic music part of MCTAMA.  Our members play and listen to folk music, blues, old time Appalachian, fiddle tunes, but mostly BLUEGRASS.

This group gives us all a chance to learn more about the music we love and to be exposed to new types of music – and especially new musicians.  Come by and say hello at the jams on Tuesday evenings at Quinault Baptist Church in Kennewick, and the first Thursday Bluegrass Jam at First Christian Church in Pasco.

The Mid-Columbia Bluegrass Association sponsors several jams that start in September and run through May. The jams go on summer hiatus in June, July, and August. These are family-oriented events and everyone is welcome. So, bring your instruments and family members and be ready to enjoy a wonderful evening of music.

We look forward to meeting with you!

This jam is on the first, second, fourth, and last Tuesday night (every Tuesday but the third Tuesday) At Quinault Baptist Church in Kennewick at 5400 W Canal Dr. The church is located right in front of the Court Club just one block west of Edison Street.

All musical genres are ok so long as it is with an acoustic instrument though mostly we do bluegrass, old time, and a bit of country. We usually get done no later than 9PM. This is a family oriented event.
